Let's talk about
your business.
Whether you need a full marketing partner or just want a straight answer about what's working, we'd like to hear about your business. Start with the intake, or send a quick note.
Start with a short intake.
Five to seven minutes of questions about your goals, where you are today, and what you need. It means our first call is about your business, not gathering basics.
A quick honesty check before you reach out.
We work small on purpose, so we're selective about who we take on. Here's who we're a good fit for, and who we're not.
A great fit
- You own or run a building, remodeling, or home-services company, usually with fewer than 50 people.
- Your work is great, but your marketing is scattered across vendors, or it's been sitting on your plate for too long.
- You want one partner who owns the results, not another vendor who hands off files and disappears.
- You're ready to invest in an ongoing monthly partnership. Most start at $1,500 to $3,000 a month and scale with scope.
Probably not us
- You need a logo by Friday and nothing else.
- You want someone to post on social media with no plan behind it.
- You're shopping for the cheapest option. We're not it, and we'll say so up front.
- You're just getting started and need business cards more than a marketing plan. We'll gladly point you to someone great.
Tell us about the project.
The more you share up front, the more useful our first conversation will be. Only your name and email are required.
Before you write.
The questions we get most often, answered straight.
Most partnerships start with a 90-day onboarding: an audit of where you are, a plan, and the foundation work. After that, we work on a monthly retainer with a six-month minimum.
Equip works on monthly retainers. Most start at $1,500 to $3,000 a month and scale with scope. After the discovery call, you'll get a specific number, not a vague range.
Yes. Many contractors have an office manager or salesperson who handles marketing part-time. We can work alongside them, support them with a plan and the heavy lifting, or take it over entirely.
Hickory, North Carolina. Most of our clients are in Western North Carolina, and we work remotely with businesses elsewhere, with in-person sessions when they make sense.
Usually not. A new logo on its own rarely changes whether the phone rings, so we build brands as part of a bigger plan. If a logo is all you need, we're happy to recommend a designer who does that well.
